SISTER SESSIONS: The Wave, Bristol are passionate about making surfing accessible for everyone. Their women-only Sister Sessions sponsored by Sweaty Betty are just one of a few initiatives to attract a wider range of people to experience the joy of surfing, as well as its many physical and mental health benefits.

We have an ongoing creative partnership with The Wave and were asked to put together a Female team from our collective to capture the first ever Sister Session event at The Wave. We provided event video and photography to capture the essence of the event - the joy, the empowerment, the sisterhood!

SISTERHOOD: Our community. Your comfort blanket. Your cheerleaders. Being surrounded by the people who cheer you on.

Sweaty Betty and @simonepowderly’s Soul Mates were so excited be @thewave for the first event. The amazing group of women hit the waves for a fun-filled surfing lesson, before warming up with a yoga flow led by @moveyourframe.

Sweaty Betty are sponsoring the Sister Sessions at The Wave this summer, giving females the opportunity to try something new with an incredible community of women. Hopefully our Female Collective will be back to capture more of the incredible Sister vibes - such a great event!
