Passion Project and Collaboration: micro-documentary

Category: Brand, Campaign, Micro-documentary,

These people work to feel alive, driven by nature, adrenaline and passion everyday. The guys & girls in the orange jackets have always been of intrigue to us, knowing they are a vital part of keeping the mountains safe but apart from seeing them skiing down the slopes with the rescue sledge never really knowing exactly what they do. Their story is pretty much untold and we wanted to get to know their stories. These people work to feel alive, driven by their passion for the mountains.

Bethany Mercer, Creative Producer at GlobalShots, said: “Having spent a lot of time working in the mountains, we’ve always been intrigued by the ski patrol and the amazing work they do. We wanted to tell their true untold story and offer a real insight into the people and personalities behind the job. Our aim was to create something real, organic and raw – not just your average ski movie.”

Outcome: Officially selected to be screened at the Four Seasons Film Festival and screened in La Clusaz’s cinema. Shared by the leading online Ski magazines and sites from Mpora, IntheSnow and Fall-line. Featured online in National paper The Telegraph. Collaborated with Helly Hansen and La Clusaz Tourism.
